New Clone Wars Deluxe Sets Hit Retail

The latest wave of Clone Wars Deluxe Figure & Vehicle sets have started to hit Target and Toys R Us stores. This wave (Fall 2010 Wave 3) includes three new sets - Freeco Speeeder with Clone Trooper, AST with Tactical Droid, and Geonosis AT-RT with Boil.

Hasbro Star Wars Q&A - Session 31

On September 24th, we sent our thirty-first batch of questions to Hasbro to once again take part in their Star Wars Question and Answer sessions. Today, we've got the answers to our two questions!

1) Have you decided yet what set will accompany the Yavin IV Technician and Sled in the TRU exclusive deluxe assortment next Spring? At Celebration all you could offer was that it would most likely be Clone Wars themed - any chance you can let us know what the other set in assortment will be?

** Yes, we will reveal... it will be a Clone Wars Geonosian Warrior (non-zombified) on a speeder. Right now we're looking at a March '11 on-shelf date.

2) At Celebration V you mentioned that the AotC Padme would be shipping with two unique headdresses - one movie based and one concept based. Any chance we could get a comparison pic of the two headdresses atop Padme's head?

Del Rey has announced that Purgatory, the fifth installment of the popular Lost Tribe of the Sith series will be available for download October 25th. The series, which is written by John Jackson Miller, chronicles the untold story of forgotten Sith castaways that figure prominently in the Fate of the Jedi novel series.

Steve Sansweet Leaving LFL

Lucasfilm has announced today that Steve Sansweet, Head of Fan Relations, is leaving the company. Sansweet says that he'll move on to other new ventures, at least some of them Star Wars related. Check out StarWars.com for all the details.

Clone Wars 2011 Wave 1 Sneak Preview?

The gang at Sandtroopers.com have posted what appears to be a preview of 2011 Clone Wars Wave 1. The wave appears to include a repack of Hondo Ohnaka and 4 new figures - Training Armor Hevy, a new Obi-Wan Kenobi, a new Cad Bane with TODO-360 (the one shown at JD earlier in the week), and R7-A7 (Ahsoka's astrodroid).

New Clone Wars DVD 2-Packs Hit Retail

We've received a few reports from folks who've found the new Walmart exclusive Clone Wars DVD 2-Packs. Each of the three new 2-packs feature two repacked figures and a DVD that includes one of the episodes from the Malevolence Clone Wars story arc. So yeah, nothing new here.
